I watched intently as this amazing bird landed on this small tree in the middle of the pond! It had been fishing just moments ago looking for fish. I am so impressed by their swimming ability! Fish are very fast swimmers and yet the Anhinga can out swim them in their own element! Not only are they fast swimmers but they are also very fast in the air! They are sometimes referred to as snake birds!
